View Full Version : New Nailed songs from forthcoming album

07-22-2007, 07:22 PM
I've put three songs from our forthcoming album, "Hatred Failure & The Extinction of Mankind" available on our MySpace page at www.myspace.com/naileddeathmetal.

We are currently searching for a label to release this album and are sending packs out next week.

Sounding pretty cool, much better production than them old tracks.

Well the recording on the last CD cost us about 100, this new one cost 1400. So I'm not surprised haha!

Good luck with that!

Gonna listen to those tracks tonight! "A Pure World is a Dead World" was such a cool album title!

I thought the production on the last album was good... apart from the over triggered drums. I like the au naturale drum sound of this new one!

Well we thought we'd continue the theme of self-explanatory album titles with the new one!

I like how the SMNnews post about it reads "Nailed have unleashed three new songs from their forthcoming CD." Awesome.

Only thing triggered on this one is kicis, which we did after we'd recorded because at those kind of speeds it's nigh-impossible to maintain clarity.

The snare sound gives me a hard on. Andy at MCC studios did a phenomenal job.

Don't worry, I'm not one of these trigger hating fags who claim that triggering is cheating and makes you faster! I'm just not a fan of triggering everything else, because I like natural sounds.

For some reason we never get people accusig Garth of cheating with his triggers. Probably because he played all natural at Obscene Extreme, and just with triggered kicks at Neurotic.

Triggers are a live thing for me, just to quicken setups and soundchecks. In the studio just let rip!

that's cause Garth's a big bastard that's why ;)

one query.. what's "Hatred Failure" supposed to mean? the inherent way in which hating something will cause you to fail?

The MySpace player doesn't allow commas or punctuation in the song titles, Hence "Hatred, Failure & The Extinction of Mankind" became "Hatred Failure".
