Rotten G(rind) It's 12" Mini-LP. Release date is ASAP. We've done our share, but there's some hazzle still in between Spinefarm and Power-It-Up (contracts). But I'm sure they'll be cleared out in very near future & we will have the MLPs available in some weeks.

Mikko Whats the case with 7"-version? Power-it-up's website offers no information on this so does someone know if it will be released?

In Vermis Veritas ^ Likewise. Got the EP two weeks back, love it. Amazing artwork! More quality blistering grind, with your love of Swedish "Stockholm sound" death metal nicely filtering into the mix. Congratutaltions to Sami for caving my head in. Nice one, guys: keep it extreme!

hakkinti Keijo and other Rotten lads. I was finally able to get my copy just two days ago... What can I say? Absolutely amazing stuff, once again. I'm really digging this and if you keep on going like this, the next album is gonna be pretty scary. Some really aggressive stuff on this and this material will definitely shut up those who doubted if Sami was able to keep up with you guys.

Rotten G(rind) Well, I guess that U.S. is the closest nation to message of Decay, but I still refuse to say, that they were pointed directly at any country. We've been in US 2 times and even when some places are a bit sketchy in the bigger cities, I can't say that we had a bad time in there. Some scary stuff is going on even in Finland every now and then and it still comes to down the violent human behaviour.

Lobotomy CTC's just so brutal! (In)Genius use of cello there!
You just Grinded my head off!

PS: I did related decay's lyrics to america and I think it's easy to see why. Anyway, you've got a good point there and after all it serves for the whole world!

Rotten G(rind) Now CTC is in shops in Finland. CDs came on Monday, which means that other European countries will have the CDs a few days later.

Never. Finland is such a great place to live in. Ask Conan O'Brien if you don't believe that....

Anyway, I just don't get the point of your question, when it's quoting the lyrics of "Decay".

Decay lyrics are anti-violent, anti-weapon, anti-war, anti-propaganda and pro-public-beer-drinking (hehe) based on a socio-political utopia.

I mean that the intention was not to attack any government, but to point-out big risks in the progress (or regress) of today's world, which are visible in multiple countries. These lyrics do not match 1:1 with any country. And hopefully they never will.

Feel free to disagree, I only know what I meant while I wrote these lyrics.

Decay Lyrics

Full CTC lyrics will come to our website soon. Here's Decay:

You can own a gun for your protection
But you can't drink on the streets
You can shoot anyone passing through your yard
And it's unsafe to walk outside alone

Synthetic Social Safety
Of your mindless society
Will collapse one day
By corruption and decay

Fear makes people ready to serve in the wars
Against other fools praising other false gods
When your safety is endangered
Take your gun and make sure their safety is gone

Synthetic Social Safety
Of your mindless society
Collapses today
To save this historic day!

Leading you to subjective
Oppressive, offensive freedom
Turning you From a thinking being
Into ignorant Obeying moron

You can own a gun for your protection
But you can't drink on the streets
You can shoot anyone passing through your yard
And it's unsafe to walk outside alone
Fear makes people ready to serve in the wars
Against fools praising other false gods
When your safety is endangered
Take your gun and make sure their safety is gone

04-26-2006 01:26 AM
Rotten G(rind) Your Organ(s) and Ilari's Cello sound also really big in CTC. Thanks again for coming over!

Yeah, Tonteknik did great job in mastering - just like Sound Supreme did great job in recording and mixing and I guess that Rotten Sound did also pretty good in producing (Janne is a co-producer).

We're damn happy about the end-result now, let's just hope that the cover design is getting final today & we can print the whole thing in time for 7-Jun release date.
