So, the new album is done. 15 tracks of unholy gore metal, served on a viscera infested mortuary slab for your audial displeasure, "Corpus In Extremis: Analysing Necrocriticism" will be unleashed some time during March 2009 on Listenable Records.

There will be both a CD and LP version with slightly different track lists, the artwork and photos will also be altered for each release.

As usual, the album was recorded at Off Beat studio in Stockholm, but this time by the surgeons themselves so this is a truly self-produced effort. Mastered at the renowned Tailor Maid facilities in Stockholm by mastering wizard Peter In De Betou. Artwork by Sven/Listenable Graphix.

"Corpus In Extremis: Analysing Necrocriticism" tracklist:

1. Necronomics
2. Decedent Scarification Aesthetics
3. Restrained Remains
4. Final Excarnation
5. Necrocriticism
6. Exotoxic Septicity
7. Adnexal Mass (CD) - Excessive Corpus Delicti (LP)
8. Virulent Corpus Dispersement
9. Ichor
10. Idle Teratoma Core
11. Perfunctory Fleshless Precipitate
12. Plexus Necrosis
13. Unwitting Donor/Cadaver Exchange
14. Mortsafe Rupture
15. Deadhouse

As a special putrid treat for the holidays, we offer you two slices of reeking putrefaction up on our Myspace page, namely Exotoxic Septicity and Ichor. Have a listen and make sure you leave us a comment.

Awesome! I had a listen to the tracks...
The main riff of Exotoxic Speticity is pretty catchy, but the end part is especially nice with the bass bits. Ichor is also sick, a solid track if not anything particularly new - really picks up about 2 minutes in.
Production is nice, sort of a mix in sound between Necrology and Left Hand Pathology, I reckon...

Anyway, looking forwards to hearing the new album! Hopefully I can find it on shelves like I did the first album (was really surprised at that).

Also, ace photo, guys ;)

There will never be anything new on a GS album, rest assured. That's not in the plan. :D
