WOW !!!!!!!

Skin Coffin 07-28-2009 11:51 AM

Are you guys going to be releasing this next one through Neurotic as well?

Erland 07-30-2009 05:54 AM

Neurotic is out of the picture.

That's great news! I wonder when the rest of their bands will drop from that sinking ship..

Any new labels in mind so far??

Choronzon 07-31-2009 03:39 PM

Neurotic was a promising up-and-coming label, but that whole Visceral Bleeding pre-order debacle, plus the whole communication breakdown that many former bands have been mentioning have squashed much of the goodwill they generated over the years.

Many bands have left Neurotic: Sickening Horror, Psycroptic, Fleshgod Apocalypse, Ulcerate - now Spawn of Possession.

Ruud was always cool with me & Masterful Magazine, though - we always got promos of their priority releases, etc. He's a cool chap, too bad his label went totally down the drain.

this lineup is almost too good to be true

Sammy J 08-02-2009 02:34 AM

This could well be the most ultimate metal album ever, ever hehe.

Cant wait to hear some tunes guys, please dont take too long to give us another taste!

It'd be really interesting to hear some Obscura proggyness influence with the brutality of Sop riffs with some subtle necrophagist influences in the back.

That'd be so fucking epic. :D

not really.

Bryssling writes all the music, so I doubt it will sound anything different from the Spawn Of Possession of the past. Still, with a line-up this strong technically the possibilities to go in are virtually unlimited.

I think SoP will nicely fill the void left by Swedish tech death gods Theory In Practice.

Yes thats true, I think Christian is pretty busy with Obscura allready, so I dont think he will be writing any riffs for SoP, but thats okey with me, I have written ca 140 riffs + other stuff already anyway. But I have one of Erlands riffs in one song, and I have plans to use some more of his interesting stuff. And yes the new line-up opens new doors for sure.

Finished a new song yesterday. 6 songs complete = 32min. song no. 7 is almost complete also.

Bryzz, does Christian being the 'Lead Guitar' in the band mean that you wont be playing/writing any solos on the new album?

I dont know, maybe I play one or two, but Christian is a lot better on stuff like that.

aplanetarydiscipline 08-15-2009 08:44 AM

I think new album will be very different from previous album with the new line-up. I am really looking forward to hear it!

Scorched 08-17-2009 04:13 PM

Still pumped. I hope the album will be over 50 minutes or so, I hate how some bands have 20 minute albums.

cjgone 08-25-2009 11:30 PM

Any plan for new band merch with the new CD? Would be nice to have a bundle pack shirt + CD or something. :D

dude its gonna be awesome hearing what you have to offer as far as solo's. knowing the music you create i am sure they will be very intense. i am very excited to hear that there is serious progress and already 6 songs done! when the new sop cd comes out i am gonna go to the grocery load up on food and just listen to the new cd for a whole week and not leave my house.

Inertiopus 10-28-2009 03:57 AM

I like theory in practice and all but seriously SOP shits on them several times.
