Ad a Dglgmut.

I'm tabbing this song out (and yes, I'll post it when I'm finished), but I have a question for Shane.

Code:
|--------0---
|--------0---
|--------0---
|-----0--2---
|---1----2---
|-2------0---

|--------------------
|--------------------
|--------------------
|-7/9-9-999-10-------
|-7/9-9-999-10-------
|-5/7-7-777-8--------

|---------------------------------
|---------------------------------
|---------------------------------
|---------------------------------
|-7--7-6-----10--10--9--------
|---5----5-3----8--8--7----
 Tremola picking................
I'm not sure if this part is correct. This is after the, "It all makes sense" part. I know I'm missing a harmonic, but I can't find it. If you could be so kind as to tell me what it is and if this is somewhat right?

Well, I listened to it on my cd player and I can hear it A LOT better. I guess these speakers just suck. By the way, can you tell me the harmonic that I missed? Thank you so much.

correction

the harmonic is on the 6th fret of the 5th string. also, shane made a mistake on the tremolo picking part. change the notes on the 6th string to frets 3 and 2 instead of 4 and 3. peace

first of all, shane is full of shit. i'm always right. always. never been wrong. and second of all, to answer the fella's question on how we come up with those patterns for the tremelo picking parts.... listen to the high arpeggios that the lead guitar does over those parts during the 2nd and 3rd time through the riff. you'll notice that the arpeggios played are(as though the guitar were tuned to standard pitch) e minor to d# minor to c minor to b minor. now look at the tremelo picked rhythm part. 7th fret on the the 5 string and 3rd fret on the 6 string creates an e minor sound(inverted minor third). then it does the same thing a half step down(d# minor). then it goes up to a c5 and then finally to a b5. though the c5 and b5 do not contain the necessary 3rd to make it either major or minor, the minor sound is implied by the lead part. i hope that helps you to better understand the method behind the madness. keep shreddin'

that's really not that complicated. the world would be a better place if people picked up and an instrument because they were curious about it and wanted to educate themselves, instead of wanting to look cool standing behind it in front of a fucking mirror.

speaking of mirrors...tabs, paul?

And look, there wasn't even 300 boardies coming in here verbally blowing them for taking the time out of their busy schedule to post on their own fucking message board. Nor were there other boardies coming in here insulting them and calling them fags with no tone resulting in weak rebuttals about living in basements and being gaybos.
