Seriously. Zero defects with that album. It's fucking perfect. It's a fucking masterpiece, and no matter how much newer shit I listen to, nothing strikes me as a fucking masterpiece. I mean, I would agree Aenima and Lateralus were masterpieces, but those aren't newer either. Is anyone making real shit anymore?

The only thing stopping And Justice from truly being a perfect album is the production. No bass present. One could argue that is what makes that album so striking, though.

I dig Kill Em All to And Justice for All but Metallica is way overrated and do not deserve this giant band status whereas there are tons of great of thrash that remained undiscovered in comparison.

Admit it, you really like Metallica, possibly Megadeth, but you never checked out Coroner, Demolition Hammer and Kreator until today (some of the most well known underground thrash bands of the same era).

I'm sorry, Kreator isn't even close, Megadeth's vocals are fucking garbage, and Slayer is good, but dynamic? No.

It was a rhetorical question and more of a fucking appreciation thread than a "name as many old thrash bands as you can to try to up your cred" thread. I absolutely do not understand how whenever one of these threads gets made people come in and post other bands.
