I like the songs on karma more but harvest is still bad ass. Can't wait to hear the clean singing on the last track.

Cattle has always been an awesome live band and ever since they got Dave behind the kit they've only gotten better. When The Harvest Floor came out it bacame instant favorite album of mine. I have been eagerly waiting to hear new shit out of them and this new song delivers, I cannot fucking wait for this album!!!

Isn't this the guy who continually claims to not be manipulating his vocals when he clearly is?

Cought their set at the Suffo tour since everyone faps about them, they didn't do anything for me tbh. Vocals sounded a lot weaker than it does on the records. I'll catch them again though because I don't think this was the right gig for them.

Song more convincing than the previous one with a progressive side doesn't sound bad at all, and especially the drums further back in the mix.

Kick drum sample sucks and I'm usually not one to nit pick production values but it just doesn't fit with the rest of the drum sound. Besides that, though, the track is great and really proves how much they've grown as an ensemble since their early work. Not that I dislike their early stuff, Homovore and To Serve Man are great, but this is just a whole different beast.

You can achieve a similar effect by rolling your tongue back to the top of your mouth and doing growls that way, but you lose a lot of enunciation.

I know that's probably the wrong word to use here, but you know what I mean.

Well, I like it a lot better than harvest floor, which to be fair was pretty decent. This is their best release yet, methinks.

I concur! Comparing the stuff they're putting out now with what they put out back when they first started out is like comparing night and day, holy shit!

I really dig the sorta darker, more ominous atmosphere they seem to be going for on the newest one.
