Am I a dummy? (gear related)
So i have this original MIJ Ibanez s1620 prestige (figured bubinga) and i really want to trade it for one of these.
 PROS: its got an original floyd, one inlay, maple neck, reverse headstock, grover rotomatics, 24 frets, dope double binding (pearl and ebony) and Neck thru construction. These are all things my ibanez doesn't have. And it plays and sounds fucking phenomenal. CONS: Its a BC Rich, and its the signature model for one of the douchebags from five finger death punch

even if it says something gay over that truss rod cover, you can replace. like mentioned, if it sounds good and plays good. who cares who's signature it is.

the only thing ffdp related is on the headstock while holding it, looking down, it says bathory, and theres brass knuckles on the lions head on the 3rd fret inlay. the truss rod cover just says assassin which is the model of guitar it is. so i figured i could sand off bathory, and i'm not too worried about the inlay. its barely noticeable.

THe thing about floyds with me is its zen setting them up. I love the tediousness of it. puts me in a state of bliss. and plus i do use them in my lead playing.

If it sounds great and the only issues are cosmetic, then I'd say go for it.
Also, that binding is gorgeous.
