does everyone download their music(metal, classical, jazz, trip hop, etc.) from?
everything i search for on mediafire has been removed. need to download music illegally because i dont want to spend 30 dollars for a cd from belgium that i may or may not enjoy.
any help would be greatly appreciated

Do google searches like this:
"name of band" - "name of album" blogspot 320

If nothing pops up, then drop the 320 and search again. If that still fails, try filestube.com. Though, if you use filestube, copy the URL and paste it up top. If you just click on the link (this usually happens just with Mediafire links), an error message will pop up.

My impression is that, and it's especially true for movies, producers will go on a "get every copy off the internet" rampage from time to time, informing every ddl hoster to remove files. Just look for the particular thing you searched for in another week or so, and you'll probably find s.th. again.

Also, you can directly download via IRCs xdcc function, it seems producers are overlooking this possibility.

I swear by Soulseek. Any kind of music, no matter how obscure, you'll find it there somewhere. Almost the only time I rely on blogs is for brand new leaks.

harder to find old school classical/jazz recordings on teh interwebzzzz than death metuhl. took me forever to find this sviatoslav recording but it took me 5 seconds to find teh new sop. some styles of music are harder to find than others.
