How much are y'all....
....spending on your electricity bills? Not sure how it's geared overseas but we usually get our bills quarterly...I just had to shell out $200 for the three months. Obviously I still want to hear from you guys that still live at home but your opinions won't actually mean shit to me if you ain't contributing to paying bills. I've got rent due tomorrow too...what a kick in the balls.

Our winter bills come to around £110 / US$180 for three months. Other quarters of the year are around £70 / US$113. [each]
Shit is pretty expensive. But then again, it includes heating + electric hobs + electric shower heating. And all four of us in the flat are nerds so we have our computers running 24/7 pretty much. Looking forward to moving flat in June, should drop the rent by at least £50/month whilst still getting more space which will be cool. Last edited by discombobulation; 04-29-2012 at 01:10 AM.. |

Last winter was about 300USD a month, but I did some insulation in the basement last fall so they dropped to about a hundred a month. Summertime is around 50-60 dollars.

I run at around $350 a quarter in winter, $280 or so in Summar and between the two for Autumn. Spring would probably be the cheapest.

On average the electric bills are about 1000 NOK per month. That is 175 US Dollars. Maybe a bit more in the winter, and less in the late spring and summer.

ATM I live in an 80 sqm flat and the power company estimated 150 dollars per month, though this estimation is based on winter, and we have shitty electric heating things from the 60ies or s.th. We are two persons though, so I guess in the end I'll end up with around 60 dollars a month.

My monthly bill is around $80. I do work from home though so I use a little more power than the average person probably.

I pay around $250 a month for a 1800 square foot house. Summer time is more cause the a/c is on non stop.
I wish it was $200 for 3 months. |

Heat in my small 1 bedroom apartment is controlled by the building. Windows leak. In winter my bill comes to $60 on an average. In summer, with the A/C on almost every night (for 3/4 hours to cool the living room) I think it comes to around $100.

Can we work some erotic humiliation into there somehow? I heard you're up and about on that sort of thing. I'd like to dabble.

My bills are included in my rent. Which is great because I love taking half hour showers.

For my two bedroom apartment it's between $30 and $60 a month. I compulsively unplug the microwave and toaster etc when it's not in use.

Avg is like $200/month. I'd take 200 every three months and pay with a smile on my face. Our rates just keep going up and up. Bullshit.
