New album progress

Just thought I would give anyone who is interested an update.

We are still working on new music for the full length album to be recorded between Jan 8 - 22 2007, and have finished a new song.

We have 2 more songs in the works and will have the following songs to record:

1 - The Transition
2 - Noxious
3 - Sequestration
4 - Continuing the Torment of Confinement
5 - New 1 (finished)
6 - New 2
7 - New 3

Possibly rerecording With Absence of Warning or another track to make the 8 songs.

We will also be adding some noise tracks done by a member of The Amenta as intro and outro tracks, so it will be 10 tracks in total if all goes to plan.

The songs have all been recorded. The last thing to do is vocals and then we are on to mixing.

It has been a great experience for us, despite the building blacking out on the second day and the guitar amp blowing a valve on the 3rd day of guitars.

The album is sounding very good and we have had great feedback from everyone who has heard it. Josh has produced an awesome drum sound and guitar tone, which is crucial for a good metal release.

The tracks will be

The transition
The tangible being and the desolate mind
Noxious
Continuing the torment of confinement
Sequestration
Divining the vital source
Unnamed #1
Unnamed #2 (we will name these soon)

The album is finished albeit a few minor adjustments. Mostly cymbal levels between songs and little noises on the guitar tracks.

We still need to master it and find artwork, so any help with the art side would be much appreciated.

I cant wait to hear the debut album fellas. Ever since I saw you guys for the first time I've loved your music. Cant wait to hear James' brutal drumming on the album! Top quality shit boys.

oh.....and put With Absence of Warning on the album and Zedekiah ;)

Thanks Cam, i'm a little uncertain as to what's happening with the album at this point in time as i'm no longer in the band. [ link ]
