Drums sound is way better than Incongruous, you can hear the snare even during the gravity blasts. My only problem is the effects used and the songwriting is quite chopped, it lacks fluidity. And I agree, the final is not terrible in the image of quite a lot of Dystopia titles.

I'm not into Teeth at all, gave their recent full length 2 listens, and I disliked it more the second time. Not a single memorable moment. The vocals are especially grating.

That Obsequaie is some of the most boring and predictable stuff I've heard in forever.

If you guys can't tell, this is the year I've learned to fall into the hate zone very comfortably.

Now that Reveal album on the other hand....damn that's some good shit.

Yeah, it seems to be right up my alley, and a lot of people that share my musical interests are into it, as well. But it's not grabbing me at all. I don't know if my general tastes are having a big shift lately or if I'm just becoming an old, cranky man, but a lot of music nowadays is either boring me or pissing me off haha

Yeah, I really enjoyed the one in 2014 but I haven't revisited it in years so I'm not sure how I feel about it now. But I do know that I tried the new one a couple times and had zero interest, it seemed like a total retread to the point that it kind of made the gimmicky bedroom nature of the band painfully obvious.
