Absolutely psyched for the new Contrastic. I dig that new Pigsty album also. Not as grindy as their previous stuff but it's a lot more straightforward and less "djenty"

Didn't the Ad Nauseam debut pretty much already blow away every post-Everything Is Fire dissonant death metal album? If you can name me some better albums than that one, i'm listening. If the new one comes even close to being as great as the first one, i'll be happy.

Edit: I somehow forgot about Colored Sands, aside from that one though...

How’s that Abigor compare to the last one? Was not a fan. They keep talking about classic 90s influence but I can’t find riffs in the garble. Needless to say it’s nothing like the first four or five but I really enjoyed leytmotif I’m hoping this is more a return to that.

Eeeehhhhhhh it's ok. I like it better than the last one, it's kind of a happy medium between Leytmotif and Hollenzwang. Worth a listen, anyway.

Apparently there’s a new Ruins of Beverast album coming out in February, titled “The Thule Grimoires”. New track has been up on Spotify for a few days and I’m sure elsewhere as well.

Touche. The new Ulcerate and Baring Teeth's Atrophy could give it a run for its money, but that's about it I guess.


Vindsval's side project. Basing on this one song he could release it under the BaN moniker (Memoria Vetusta series) and no one would raise a brow.
