Something I've always wanted to ask someone from Cephalic...

With the way you guys move around on stage and shit, have any of you ever hit anyone else on the head with the headstock of your guitars? Or gotten hair caught in the tuning heads? Or any other whacky antics that would suffice my questions?

Thanks.

Thats funny you ask that because while it didnt happen when I saw them play Im sure it has, because my band was playing a show one time and the singer knocked into my guitar neck which caused me to fuck up on one our big parts, and then later in the show his hair did get caught in my headstock. Fortunately it only got caught for a couple of seconds otherwise it could have been pretty bad but regardless it still caused me to fuck up my playing. Yeah you have to be careful when you're up there and considering how much cephalic carnage thrashs around I wouldnt be surprised if its happened before.

Howard from Killswitch Engage had one smashed over his head and he didn't flinch/move/fall at all. Just kept singing...

Was it an electric guitar? Because that would fucking hurt like hell to get an electric solid body guitar smashed over your head. I cant see anyone getting hit with an electric guitar in the head and not even at least be stunned by it. If it was an acoustic then yeah that makes more sense, the woods a lot thinner and it breaks more easily so that probably wouldnt hurt as much.

i remember seeing biomechanical last year, and the singer was windmilling with all this curly hair, before it tangled in the bassists machine-heads, he kinda pulled away, it didnt come out, so he just threw his head back, pulling a chunk of his hair out in the guys bass. It was bloody great.
