Moser custom shop is currently building me a new guitar. I asked APC for the pickups. Les replied me that he would sell them asap, but for the moment, things are in the lawyers hands. He can't take pickups out of the stock cause they need to make Mace's succession ok. Stuff like that.
Hope it will end soon :-)

Hi folks.......

I've been talking to Michael Gilbert and emailing others to try and let them know what's going on with APC. Finally just as the 2008 ended (literaly the 31st) parts of the Lace estate/business that needed to be settled happened. (When lawyers and auditors get involved it seems like things will never come to an end.) We were about to launch a new website after the new year and the host lost the website during their hardware/software migrations. It took almost 3 weeks for them to find it. I'm currently putting the new site together. APC Pickups is the new company name (I know that many refer to Adder as APC so that works out really good.). Keep a watch out for the new site which will be called www.apcpickups.com as mentioned earlier.

The way the pickups are made will stay the same. No compromises there.... If you have any questions or thoughts please feel free to email me(les.bruzik@apcpickups.com). I might not get back to you the same day but I will get back to you. Working on the new site is the #1 priority for me right now. Once that is done I can safely say that I will get back to you within 1 business day.

Thanks for your patience and interest in APC,
Les

I've been using a Syrinx in the neck and will be replacing it with a Felony in a couple weeks. The Syrinx is an outstanding pickup but I want something with slightly less low end and output, and Les from APC has advised I try the Felony instead. Remind me and I'll let you know how it works out.

I haven't gotten it yet. I ended up buying a hum/single/single set for my Steinberger Spirit since the stock EMG selects were absolutely terrible. A little strapped for cash right now so I had to hold off on getting a different neck pup for the Jackson.

I went with a regular Persuader for the bridge and 2 H300's single coils.
The stock single coils are slightly smaller and whatever moron installed them didn't line up the holes centered in the cavities, so I haven't been able to install the single coils yet. But I installed the Persuader and have come to these 3 conclusions.
1. The Persuader in the bridge sounds great. Huge improvement over the stock pickup.
2. It feels nice to actually NOT have a single coil installed in the center. I've always disliked guitars with a middle pickup because I can't stand it when my pick hit's it. I will eventually install it, I'll just set it pretty low in the body.
3. This guitar, though well worth the money, has zero shielding in any of the cavities. Which is stupid.
