Unreleased Songs....

Today, I was watching my GC Dvd and saying to myself how much I loved those A-HA and Chris Isaac covers there. Also I started thinking how cool it would be if I could have those songs on a cd. And then I thought "why doesn't GC release a cd of unreleased/live/rare songs?"

I mean, they have the material to do it. On the Lp's, there's 5 bonus tracks, you got 6 on the Dvd, maybe the Dead Can Dance song, one or two unreleased songs (hopefully) from their new cd, a few live songs and, hey! ...now there you have a whole new record out!

But if that's too much to ask, then you could do as Antimatter(awesome band by the way) did.....release almost 20 songs on an Internet-only cd with cd cover and all for us to download/print out and spread around. Or maybe a forum-only cd......Cd-R or something only available to the forum guys to buy....limited and hand-numbered and all... ;-)

...what do you guys say?

"On September 15th, the band finished recording its 4th full length album, scheduled to be released through Season of Mist in February 2005. The band is very excited about the new material and song titles, album title and album cover details, will be released in a couple of weeks."

...see? No need to record new material 'cause they already did :p

Yeah I know that, as I said, cant wait for it... but why not recording more new songs ;)

Hi guys..

In 2005, Green Carnation is celebrating its 15th anniversary and we do have some plans for a special recording, but i dont know how all the details as of yet. Been too busy with the new Green Carnation album, as well as with the new Blood Red Throne AND the new Carpathian Forest album. Will keep you updated about it though. We think its gonna be a real treat for the fans :)
