i am indeed... due to it moving from Rotterdam to Eindhoven, it's gonna cost me a small fortune to re-sort out my return flight and accomodation, but it's DEFINATELY going to be worth it!

Random offtopic note: Matty, you did a sterling job with Aborted last night :beerchug: *random flattery over*

heh... well I was tempted to pester you after the set but i was stood right in front of the bassist chick (not sure of her name), and was determined to not lose my place at the railing to see Cryptopsy live.

Just making me look forward to hearing stuff like 'Impermanence Of Being' live in May all the more with your other band of sickos from Belgium ;)

Still got about three months left to work hard and pay for it :D :P

The topic title is outdated, but I have a question concearning you guys and the Neurotic Deathfest. Surely you will be selling merch at the fest, right? I'll probably order some stuff from Brutal Bands later on, but I'll be at the Deathfest and - if I have some money left - I'd be interested in "Mind" shirt as well as maybe the Brutal Domination dvd.

Cool to hear the fest was a good time - just curious, how many people do think attended this fest?

I'd say at least 200 overall, but we opened so we didn't have the biggest crowd although it wasn't too bad. I think it's safe to say that we played quite a good set!
I believe it was 15 bands from 12 different countries, from 4 world parts... :hbang32en

Well 200 people isn't too bad. Just curious as the scene in Europe seems to be stronger than in the US, so I always like to learn more about the European scene.

I know from talking to a guy of the organisation that there where at least +400 people visiting the fest. And regarding the capacity of the Main Stage Area I would say that we played for about 150 to 200 people...

I know there would have been a stronger British contingent if the majority of brutal death fans here aren't either impoverished or just plain tight.
If I'm honest I'm quite surprised that Emeth were on first out of all the bands... i know it was probably to do with the number of bands on the bill combined with the structure of the scheduling but ideally it it was possible I'd have thought the smaller stage would have started first (with Sarpanitum, who quite honestly I'd say are noteably less well-known than Emeth) and THEN the first band on the mainstage...

but then I'm probably just bitter cause I missed Emeth thanks to travelling

heh... just the conversation we had made up a fair bit of the ground :D

It's my own fault for not making better travel plans so I'll just have to make more effort at the next opportunity.
