Glad I discovered this. This has been in heavy rotation the last 2 days. If you love Regurgitate's Sickening Bliss you'll definitely dig this. In fact, Infectious Regurgitation sounds like a homage to (We Are) Sadistic Hateful Scum.

FRACTAL UNIVERSE
It's a french technical death metal band from France,
that didn't forget to have riffs! Some tracks are extreme, some tracks are progressive...
Saw them live, it sounded like a mix of later DEATH (Sounds of perseverance, perhaps Individual), old SPAWN OF POSSESSION and some old MORBID ANGEL.

I dig it, but it's their weakest album since Government Plates imo. Like Government Plates, 1 half of it is great, the other half is throw-away tracks.

I've tried the construct of lethe 3 times now and still haven't made it through the whole album. Not really feeling any of the comparisons and FFO that it's been getting

Lecherous Nocturne - Occultaclysmic. Angelcorpse with a more technical side. The instrumental Remembrance is really cool, and would not have stained on the first Fleshgod Apocalypse album. Recommanded.

Traditional stuff without modern influences.
Some riffs almost sound like death doom, which is nice.

Saw them live this week end, it was a very good gig!

what a show!, here in croatia this was pretty underrated dm band.for me best from florida and in dark purity and especially the angels venom song is one of my favourite death metal pieces.
