Dead Alive Bit

Can anyone tab out the part at 2:13 (the fill) -2:35ish (the following riff). The whole song is pretty good, but that one part is just WOW
I just want to know what is going on in that part cause it's so awesome. (And if anyone wants to tab the whole song I wouldn't be opposed.)

The part you're talking about is quick and easy, so I have "done did it," as it were. You can view it here.

I also just realized we probably haven't played that song since the album came out. Same with many others.

Thanks a lot, Jason. Do you palm mute the bold part to give it that 'something extra', kind of chugga chugga part. I know that's poorly explained, but.... Yea, when you guys play Maryland Death Fest Dead Alive and Wrought in Hell would be pretty cool to hear from Death After Life.

Yes, that part is palm muted, as well as this bold part below:

Unfortunately, we swore to never play Wrought In Hell again. It's just too difficult. We played it once at the CD release show for DAL and no other time after that. I don't know if we'd ever revisit Dead Alive. We have a pretty good set list mixture from all of our LPs as-is, to which you can rock your socks off at the next MDF.

One last question. Who does "This Apparati Insufficient, I'll Concede..." and are there any effects are all lungpower? Also, I guess I'll take one for the team and sing for you guys while you play Wrought in Hell so that you can focus on your instruments. (Kidding, my voice is horrible). Thanks again.

That vocal part was done by me, and I believe there was an "inside a glass jar" effect applied to it. That's what's causing some of the shimmer. But yes, that is mostly lung power on my part and not very much throat.

Actually, we'll take care of the voices on that song. You can play the instruments! Makes our job easier.

Oops, looks like you walked into making a tab! And as for the difficulty of the song I just looked back and the lyric booklet and I see that you wrote the music...Well done. it's a killer song.

Thanks! That one would be easy to tab because I already have it written in standard notation. GP5 makes for quick-and-easy imports. Once I have a few hours free, I'll do it.

Dude, awesome. Since I'm still waiting for my copy of the Last Gasp to come in the mail it would be nice to learn another song. I'm finishing up Preservation of Death now.

I started the tab awhile ago, but then became busy yet again. Hopefully I can finish it up soon.
