here's what i use:
fender american standard strats
some boss effects processor that they don't make anymore
berhinger midi foot controller [for switching effects on the processor and volume control]
laney 120 watt solid state amp
one of those generic marshall cabs everyone uses

jeff plays permier drums and assorted cymbals

colin plays an ibanez 6 string bass, eden bass cab + roland jazz chorus guitar amp, hartke bass amp, tons of pedals [boss delays, distortions, chorus, mortley volume pedal, big muff, etc.]

ahh! That makes sense...you and your damn strats! hahaha.
By the way, post or email what tunings you use for some songs and I'll try my hand at Powertabbing some stuff. I'm a Dysrhythmia geek with a ton of time on my hands so it couldn't hurt to try! haha

Oh, and Colin's tone is fucking bad ass live!! Especially when he kicks on that Big Muff!! Holy shit!!

hey kevin, would that boss unit happen to be the Boss GX-700? If so, how's the delay/reverb/eq on that thing? I was thinking of buying one, but I can't decide between the Yamaha SPX-900, the Boss GX-700, or the Rocktron Intellifex LTD/Online.

yep, i use the GX-700. it's the only thing i've used for the past 10 years. i haven't tried anything else other than an alesis quardaverb, so i dont know if it's better than the yamaha or rocktron but i think it's sounds good and is real easy to use. though lately i've been thinking of going back to pedals...

would you recommend it anyone? I'm sure it has plenty of effects and whatnot, but quantity doesn't always amount to quality, haha. I'd like to try one out, though.

dude, that's bananajam that you get such awesome tones from the laney solid state. i mean, i know that it can be done...but still. personally, i've been getting gnar dysrhythmia type tones with my marshall jmp and a mesa 2X12 cabinet.
