Loved 500 Days of Summer shamelessly.

You know it. Came at the right time for me really too.
You seen a film called High Fidelity, Driftwood?

I know what you mean about it coming at the right time, it totally hit home for me when I saw it as well.

And I've heard of High Fidelity but I've yet to see it.

Ah, check it out if you can. It registers on a very similar level.
Another film which is kind of relevant in the same way, to me at least, is Science of Sleep.

I haven't seen 500 Days of Summer, but I highly recommend High Fidelity and Science of Sleep.

Dare I mention... The Notebook? I don't usually like romantic type things, but I felt like it was about something a lot deeper than romance. And I cried like a girl.

You ARE a girl. :|

Also, The Science of Sleep is another film I really would love to see, as I really enjoyed Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (same director), which is another film that would go under the category of unconventional-romantic-comedies-that-really-move-me.

Anyway, added High Fidelity & The Science of Sleep to my netflix queue. Thanks for the recommendations guys.

I just watched Gamer. A friend kept begging me to watch it saying how great it was. I like Gerard Butler and Michael C Hall but that movie was a piece of shit.
Yes we get it. People are fat disgusting fucking neckbeards and are becoming increasingly desensitized. I'm gonna just start writing down the names of all these movies you people are plugging and watching them because popular cinema is just sad right now.

Poor Greene. You should never be exposed to such garbage. If you need some good movie recommendations, you just let me know, okay kiddo?

I've heard about The Notebook a few times, but just assumed it's one of those emo 'cult' films. I may have to check it out, secretively.

No worries Driftwood, let us know what you think.

I would have to agree that Gamer was a pretty bad attempt to sorta satirize society.

It was so typical, however the idea of people controlling people was interesting. It didn't feel like society fit that sorta idea though in the movie, though.

Oh yeah, Avatar topped Titanic in total box office sales. It's kinda sad because the story sucked. The visuals were the only real good part to that movie. Zoe Saldana was probably the best actress in that entire movie. Whoever played the cripple wasn't bad, though.

If Sam Worthington really went from being as big as he was in Terminator to the skinny cripple in Avatar back to being Huge as Perseus in Clash of the Titans then I am seriously impressed.
