Went and saw the band (if any of you know them) Against Me! last night, and it was absolutely amazing. Only band on the same level as DEP for best live show, I believe.

As for live shows, I put Converge, DEP and Radiohead as my 3 best.

I actually didn't consider Radiohead for some reason, hah. They would also be on my list, along with DEP and Against Me!

A different kind of energy, I suppose.

I don't know if you guys would even like this band, but I thought I'd post this here. One of my all-time favorite bands, Dir en grey, have a new album, UROBOROS, that just got leaked. They're kind of a weird band; every album has been extremely different. They started out in this genre of Japanese music called Visual Kei, and over the years went in a more metal direction. Their last album was kind of metalcore-crap, but I think this album is a lot better. More experimental than any of their other stuff. They're doing a US tour with The Human Abstract this month.

They used to back when they started. That's what all the visual kei bands do. They moved away from it because the entire genre has changed, and the visual aspect isn't really about what it used to be.

*I think I know what you mean.
I've seen them sometimes and they have been sharp and on point but
on other occasions, they've just been great big fused mess of a noise.

Yeah, I'd love to see Dredg, also. My friend said that seeing them was akin to a spiritual experience.

Old SP and New SP are about the same live. Fucking amazing. But i'm one of those people who felt like Iha and D'arcy were just interchangeable extra members.

My favourite live shows ever, vague order:

Sigur Ros
Smashing Pumpkins
DEP
Meshuggah
Fantomas
Queens Of The Stone Age
ISIS
Mastodon
Slayer

Well that's good to hear, I'm sure I'll see them sometime, I'd like to see one of the Chicago 20th anniversary show, but I have barely any money so it'll have to wait. Darcy didn't matter much but I liked James a lot, even though he had little to do with the writing.

My first time ever getting road head, Dillinger was faintly playing through my stereo...

Then right at the climax, I ran through a stop sign and almost drove into a very steep ditch.

This is true, as it happened last thursday.
