Man, I just really have a hard time throwing money at another shirt when my Black Bubblegum one STILL hasn't arrived. I know they said these shirts would be slow, but I thought I also read somewhere that all the Black Bubblegum shirts have shipped. Fuck the world.

I'm semi-glad I was at uni and my credit card was at home during that 3-hour window, or I would have bought both shirts and the $12 in my bank account would not be going towards food for the week. Self control prevails.

That being said, I'm kind of disappointed I didn't buy either of them because I'm a total consumer whore.

How many people have bought all of the shirts released so far?

Even though I'm glad I'm getting both shirts, I'm kinda kicking myself now about it. Oh well.

Uh, I got on board this shirt thing late, so I've only got ML, BB and now the two 82588 shirts.

+1

If the design is cool, didn't much like the faux v-neck form before 82588. I kinda wanted a Black Bubblegum one at the time, wolves are champion.

yeah, I've only got the ML one so far and BB is yet to arrive, but I'm patient. I only ever planned to get those two 'cause they're my two favourite tracks off the album, but eh. Would like to see someone with all the shirts, but I guess noone so far has been fangirly enough.

I wonder if that's a good thing...

He has a problem comprehending how anyone can favor the popier DEP stuff over their more harsh, brutal, complex, technical etc. core sound.

Haha, that's fair enough. To be honest DEP is probably about as 'heavy' as my music taste gets, so maybe that's why I seem to have a preferance for their more 'poppy' stuff. :) The technical aspect is what got me into them in the first place though.

It's not fully about how tech/brutal it sounds, I listen to DEP a little things that click in my mind and those songs just lack everything that I listen to this band for.

imo BB/ML make Ire Works lose energy and don't flow well with other tracks.

I'm probably autistic.

Ire Works, specifically Milk Lizard, got me into DEP and I worked my way backwards. Honestly, I think adding Gil and Greg were the two best additions this band has gotten, it's allowed them to take a direction with the band that injects more emotion and artistry than ever before to the music.

But on the same token, I can completely understand how a fan who got into them because of stuff like Calculating Infinity wouldn't like them now.

Got into them from Sugar. Went to Irony.. Never looked back. The only tracks I really skip are Come to Daddy just because it doesn't have a huge replay value, Unretrofied because I just don't like it, and what ever little electronic track on Ire Works isn't the one that butts up into Nong Eye Gong because it just sounds like filler. It should be on Ben's solo shit and not on a Dillinger record.

Oh yea and Setting Fire. Can't listen to that anymore. Just heard it too much. Hate the video too.

Ohhhh I remember how I got into them...I was 13? and my friend who is quite a few years older came home from their concert with a black eye and a smashed up nose. I asked what concert was this and he told me dillinger.

So I go to limewire and just search for them, and the first track I got was 43% burnt...I listened to it and was like...whoaa.

Then I got Irony, and I've had a boner ever since.

haha gotta love nostalgia.

First time I heard Dillinger was when my friend recommended me the track Panasonic Youth about 3-4 years ago. Dug the track a lot but never really bothered beyond that for some reason, until awhile ago when I got a hold of Irony. Bought Ire Works earlier this year and have been a big fan since then.
