nah, VR are no more. They found out how shitty their material turned out with those over-triggered drums & decided to call it quits.

Isn't Victor Prokofjevs (Repulsive Dissection, ex-Bludgeon), playing with them now (bass or guitar)? There is a white boy in their latest band line-up:

Last login was in march this year.
The pic isn't really clear, so I can't really tell if someone is white or not in the pic.

Oh shut the fuck up. They haven't called it quits, and if they did you obviously wouldn't be the first one to know about it.

Personally, I think the over-triggered drum sound is one of the things that gives VR their unique flavor. The drum sound on the split was insane! It took some getting used to but it beats my head in. It's not like it wouldn't sound good with a natural drum sound, but still, once you get used to it it kicks ass.

But I'm wondering when the hell this new CD will turn out! The VR myspace is quite anemic when it comes to information (as is their website, which hasn't been updated since it was redone like 6 months ago). It seems that Unique Leader might be in a better position to answer questions about the new album status than VR.

Reminds me of Intestine Baalism, although in that case it's really anyone's guess as to whether they are still together. They said they would be coming out with a new album in 2004 and they've pretty much been silent since. I hope they are still together because they are one of my favorite bands...

So Keisuke, if you read this, can ya give us some info?

it looks like it yeah.. sadly. i loved their live show and was hoping to experience such madness again. Also some new material whould have been nice.. making shirts only is like devourment, no music just shirts hehe
