I enjoy the last release, but I see it as more of an experiment than a proper album. I'm not really into that realm of 90's tech death, so I just skip the Dharmata side.

Putting those two halves together is what makes DS untouchable

They just posted the other day that the new stuff is like Defeated Sanity 2.0 and implied it was super heavy. Kind of like a more brutal version of Chapters or Psalms.

There's one new song written in the Dharmata fashion, but it's going to be released under a different name.

Dharmata needs more love. That side of the split was unbelievable. I’d kill for a full length like that, so I’m pumped to hear they’ve Atleast written another track in that style.

Having said that, Chapters 2.0 sounds crushing. I fucking love that album.

I fucking love Dharmata. I've got the 2xLP and have listened to that one far more than Disposal. They went for a style and absolutely nailed it. If I didn't know any better, you could almost convince me that was recorded in Tampa in 1995. That being said, it's just not the sound I'm looking for when I find myself in a Defeated Sanity mood.

I get where you're coming from - there's just not many bands that can pull off the 1994/1995 Floridian vibe with that level of authenticity. Love it, and hope to hear more.

Having said that, I'm typically putting on Chapters or Passages when im a DS mood.
