Similar bands?

Yeah. Well... I'm a big fan of you guys and you guys are way too lazy.

I know this is a pretty retarded question but i need to settle my hunger.

So, are there any bands i should know about who play this cuh-razy death metal?

keep it THC!

Yeah, it's tough to compare Malignancy as they are fucking ingenious but Intervalle Bizzare is the closest one to sound like Malignancy, for me at least.

Don't really see the connection with Intervalle Bizarre...

Though, funnily enough, I recall talking to Roger about that split and he admitted that Intervalle had completely blown Malignancy's side away. I say I'd have to agree with him.

The intricacy of the song structures make it somehow similar.

:limpwrist

hell no, intervalle was way too compressed and flat sounding - Malig had that huge vacuum cleaner guitar production. My speakers were peaking.

I would think Intervalle was the closest thing to them 'cause of the tempo changes being so abrupt - yet tight.

Personally, I've never heard another band that plays anything remotely similar to Malignancy. Just a stroke of luck that I happened to join this band. As for the Malignancy/Intervalle Bizarre split, I have no idea, I don't even have one! I heard Intervalle Bizarre before, and they're cool, I just don't think they're really that similar to Malig.

closest band MAYBE Intervalle Bizarre but they're still quite different. i know that the song "Superfluous Anomia" by my band Mucopus definitely looked to Malignancy for influence but I don't think it sounds too much like them

www.myspace.com/mucopus it's on this site

I have to agree with Paulo, these brothers do not sound like us. A definite Dying Feetless inspired band with some cool things thrown in for good measure. A good band none the less!! The singer has great range but pinch harmonics do not equal Malignancy...sorry!

No offense but if Yattering sounds like Malignancy then I don't want to be called a Malignancy fan no more. Just my opinion of course.
