some questions to bryss

hi man...
i would want to know what are the scales or chords progression do you use on SoP to achieve that mystery sound.

also it would be an honour if you check my band and tell me your impresions.

myspace.com/nonsensepremonition

And finally i wanted to know if the new album is going to be conceptual with the lyrics.

see ya.

ill try to answer this question as its been asked many times on here:

you cannot create this sound by simply using scales and chord progressions. you must know how chords resolve to other chords, how to create sentences and periods, modulate often, know how to used diatonic and non-diatonic non-chord tones.

basically, youre never gonna be able to write just like bryzz because the music is very personal to him, he writes from the heart, and thats something music theory wont do fo you

ok i know that... but i mean i know he uses lots of diminished and augmented chords its simply amazing how he conects every chord progression and then he simply make a killer riff in top of it. sorry for not noticing there where others posts like this.

anyway o know the music its personal and i do not try to do the same he does. just wanted to comprehend his songwriting.

thanx for the explanation.

It Has been similiar questions about that here before, And I have tried to explain some. but its hard. Basically I just write down the music that comes to me. afterwards I add the harmonys. The best tip I have is to experiment a lot with harmonys and eventually you just know how to do it.
This was a vague answer perhaps, but thats the way I learned.

thanx for the help and the answer rippedflesh89
I know Im not online here very often hehe,
