Not saying that Dave has been a saint, but Waters was a dick. I don't know if he still is, but The Wall was his idea and he didn't listen to much input. The Final Cut was him not giving up on his whole war-themed-album idea, and then he left the band. He even tried to have the name taken away so they couldn't use it on the next album(s).

On The Wall:

I just remember reading all of it(I was stuck in an airport) and although most of the band seemed like standup guys(Gilmore seems pretty likeable to me)






and it just kinda further turned me off to the band

Like I said earlier, they made great music despite their disputes. Animals was when Roger started to get pissy and it's still a good album.
