Thought I'd add to the craziness by saying the Caparison Dellinger 7 is one of the worst 7 strings I've ever played. Felt like it was unfinished, didn't sound very good, the neck felt pretty bad, just not a good guitar as far as I was concerned.

Maybe it was a bad example, but even bad examples of good guitars never usually feel as bad as that....

The Caparison 7 strings were/are terrible. I'd never own one. They probably shouldn't even be making them...That's why you didn't see me recommend one. Although, I'd still take one of those over some shitty $400 ibanez...

I've played better $400 Ibanez's than the Dellinger 7, and I can't stand how Ibanez's feel, thats how bad I found it.

This is me and my new Schecter Blackjack ATX 7-String with fixed bridge. I´ve checked out quiet a few other guitars and this one was just perfect for me. Brutal sound, great looks, good price. lightning inlay is a bit gay but the guitar really makes up for it. if anybody has questions just ask me.

It's the BFR- hence the BFR tag on the 12th fret inlay.
Also only the BFR's have the painted neck and the flame/quilt top finish options.

The pickups are different. The emerald one is newer so it has the crunch lab/liquifire combo instead of the d-sonic.

I had a TAT special, but sold it because I no longer play 6 strings. It was the best six string I've ever played.

I was just reading through here and saw something about an internship at Earache. I was wondering if we had mutual friends.

Willith, if you don't mind, did you have any complaints about the TAT Special? I've heard that the heel can be a bit bulky, but other than that everyone seems to LOVE it.
Was yours the yellow one on sale about a month back?

The heel is not an issue at all. You won't even notice it. I sold mine back in September. If I still played 6's, I absolutely would have kept it.

Still not sure where you came across Earache, I was at Prosthetic through an internship at Berklee. There's no myspace or anything to link the band to, currently (which I'm actually wondering why there isn't now myself). There are some solid mp3s, but those were done before I got together with them. We're currently recording something of mine.
