All stupidity aside, you're the first person I've met (though I haven't ever actually met you) that has said that I wasn't a good drummer. Now, why should I trust all of the drummers that I've spoken to, or musicians, or anybody else, when I can trust you... some guy who doesn't have any musical abilities whatsoever, who interestingly really hates the band I'm in, and loves to talk shit on the internet?

Anyway, you can continue making your argument about how my band sucks because you don't like us.

eh, i actually agree about not going to shows of bands that i don't support. i do admit that i am a suck up to Malignancy because i am a homo for them. im not too keen with most of the nydm scene/bands either.

Yep my vocals suck! Indeed! The weakest link must die! My outlook on why I go to shows isn't wrong, maybe to you it is! But everyone experiences music in their own way, there is no right or wrong. So if I want to experience a show hangin with close friends & having a beer, thats my deal. Whatever you do, whether you light a candle, get on your knees & thank god for music, or stand there boppin your head with your hands in your pocket. Thats your deal, nothing wrong with it.

The reason for supporting locals is plain & simple, not every band starts out great! Watching the progression of a band is something that is enjoyable. I have 2 perspectives about the scene I am a part of, one as a fan & one as a band member.

Its cool that some people make music their life, it has a healing natural that has helped me get through some shit. I doubt Malignancy will ever be the cure for the common cold but we are far from shit. I personally think overweight, Chips Ahoy! eating mama's boys are digusting. But I do not try to crush them in an public forum. Oh wait I think I did, sorry overweight, Chips Ahoy! eating mama's boys!

I laugh at the fact that most of our fans are muscians, and good ones at that & they seem to think we are good. My guitarist plays a ton of technical stuff but maybe its gets overshadowed by the low tuning. We never claimed to be redefining a genre, we play what we dig & thats that. These guys that I have the privilege to be in Malignancy with are also far from sucking as muscians.
