lol I knew I'd get shit for saying that xD. I could have worded my post better because I wasn't writing off all Scandinavian grind, I just think it's slightly overrated in the underground. I prefer my grindcore to be really punky or really over-the-top brutal, and from the top of my head, I can't think of any... maayyyyybe old Regurgitate.

I'm just being overly critical.

yeah, I someone that leans more towards mid-to-late RGTE. Don't get me wrong I like enough bands that could be classed as grind which have lots of punk bits to them, I just prefer the more acerbic, um, for want of a better way of putting it, grinding (in the abrasive sense) style.

If I want to listen to punk, I have enough punk bands I like to just dip into them tbh.
