Well not yet. I start college in september. I lost my job a few months ago, and living in Mormon land and being a metalhead...basically stops you from getting any kind of job out here. So I'm moving soon to go to a school out of state.

I always wondered, at what age do you attend what school? You have primairy school, highschool and college, wright?

And I think Detonation would really like that!

Well there's elementary school, grade 0 (0 being kindergarten)-5.

Middle school is generally grades 6-8

And High school is 9-12.

People usually graduate at 17 or 18. And sometimes people start college right after they graduate, or some take a year off like me.

Most kids usually start school at age 4 or 5. I think 4 if they go to pre-school.

What's it like there?

Poeh, I don't really know the English words for it all, but from age 0-4 it's daycare, at 4 (or 5) you go to the 'basisschool'.
I think it's something like middle school, but they've put the kindergarten and the middleschool together about 18-20 (?) years ago.

So you start in 'group 1' 'till 'group 8' and then you're about 12. Where it used to start when you where 6. Why? I don't know, haha.

Then you go to, ahm, I have no clue how to call it, but it's further education on the level of your knowledge, wich prepares you for a education in a line of work, on your 16th, 17th or 18th. And some go to college untill they are 30 or something! haha

lol, that just confused the hell out of me.

But after grade 12 is college whether people want to go or not. But to make any kind of decent money in america, you have to go to college basically.

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of work/job do you do?

I work at a grafic design studio. I design lay-outs for DVD's and stuff.

What kind of college are you planning on going to?

That sounds like a cool job. Have you done designs for national type movies or anything like that? When you say layouts, you're referring to the covers and stuff right?

I'm gonna go to a community college for Business Management/Small Business and Marketing type classes, cause I'm hoping to open some stores and such. And 2 years from now when I turn 21, I'm going to attend a bartending academy and become a bartender, do that for awhile till I can work out some kind of deal with the owner to maybe own half the bar, and then eventually open my own bar when I can get the loans and funding for it.

So if Detonation plays in america...they've gotta party at my bar! :D

Yep, you've got it wright. Yes sometimes we do big international movies. But most of the original artwork comes from the States, so we have to keep it in the same line, and only translate everything into Dutch and French. It's more fun to create you're own cover, unfortunately that are mainly smaller movies and sometimes series. Still that is a lot of fun.

Oh right on, it does sound fun.

But yeah, in the states you have to go to a bartending academy so they can teach you how to make all different kinds of drinks. The only one I'm aware of is in Seattle, Washington though. Not sure how much you know about the states so yeah! :) But I think it'd be a pretty cool job.

And it should be MY honor for Detonation to play at my bar. :p

Haha, well there's more schools for bartending that people have told me about in other states....I just don't know where they are.

But yeah, there was lotsa people here last night.

So how big is Detonation over there?
