What a GREAT CD. My goatness.
I've been playing it for a week and a half now, and I love it!! I think one of the greatest things about Malignancy is that they show the world just what technical death metal should sound like. The technical part is just in the right dose, and it doesn't sound like the guitarist is being overly "oooh look at me I can play!" gay shit, It is simply great to the point where you get the elements of how talented the memebers are, combined with death metal straight to the face. This album is definitely different than the other CDs I've heard. Not to say the other ones are bad, but this one shows evolvement, which is something every artist craves to achieve in their career. Fucking A. This one is going to my top 5 CDs of '07. |

The other copies I'm gonna distro down here. I thought the shirt would have song titles on the back.

Had I know there will be no back print, I would have settled for a short sleeve.

i wish we owned a printing press and could print the shirts ourselves. they didn't turn out exactly like we wanted and i agree the print is a bit light...but there isn't much that can be done when the printer messes things up and we already had paid for them ya know. all we can do is make sure its corrected in the future which it will be for certain i hope. |

Making a screen is pretty straightfoward, and handprinting a one color logo is simple after that...put that logo wherever you want!

After I posted that I looked at some online...I agree, looks cheap. If the shirts were $10 that would be cool, but they were probably selling for $25. Do you remember how much they were at the shows?

I like the Willowtip shirt just fine. It's just that I thought there would be something on the back. I know I read somewhere that there were going to be song titles on the back or something like that. Anyways, its something to add to the Malig collection.

you have no idea how bad they were live. the vocalist sounded like a total amateur. his voice was way too high. the drummer sounded like me when i play drums, (i dont), the double bass would go off time and steadily turn into single hit mush.

I actually saw Dave Suzuki in person at the record store with his Girl the same week Icons of Evil came out...I was walking around and was like "Who's this bald motherfucker with the broad?" and it was Dave with a handful of CDs.
If they would just shorten their songs and make a 35-40 minute album they would be pretty good. But there's plenty of good Death out there to worry about VR...like Malignancy! |
