Re: 2020 AOTY

I'm seeing that Atramentus everywhere but my money goes with Convocation for best funeral doom of 2020.

Didn't even know Eye of Solitude released a new album, split, reformed under a different name and then released yet another new album.

Is there any word on the Drowned frontman's recovery following his stroke and/or heart attack? Really digging his Tchornoborg album at the moment, takes you on a long winding journey.

Pretty sure that was Markov's dad and not him...

Anyway, revisiting my picks now, I would have to add the recent Hate Forest to the list, utterly ferocious, it took me by surprise as I never cared much for HF prior to it.

My bad, all I understood was a tribute cd was released to sponsor his hospital bills.

Yeah, I don't really listen to much Prog these days. But a friend kept posting about them when they released the music video and figured I'd take a listen to it. Definitely glad I did

My adds:

Like it. A lot.

Not really a conoisseur of this particular musical branch, but this may be the best dungeon synth release I ever listened to. Interesting that it was written by a newbie in the genre (but an acomplished musician).
