lol, Who the hell signed that? Warrior or Ain? I cannot tell.

Anyway, I am looking forward to their scheduled concert here in Atlanta this October. What I like about CF is that every album of theirs has surprised me. Warrior is a creative guy and Ain apparently complements his talents. I am looking forward to hearing the album. Monotheist sounds pretty good.

Anyone else still listening to the old Hellhammer album? :hbang32en

Now that I'm older, I have the means to actually seek out and find the bands that helped shape the music many of us listen to today, such as the Cynics, Celtic Frosts, Watchtowers, Deaths, and of course, Atheist. There are just so many bands out there to find whose music was so ahead of its time that it can still hold up against the more technologically improved recordings of today.

And when the opportunity arose, I couldn't pass up buying this:

Glad to read your taste in music includes those older bands. Its really great to have these more influential bands getting back together and playing. When the news first leaked about Atheist, the boards I frequent got quite active in anticipation of their return.

The whole Florida death metal scene is a vibrant part of death metal. It's great to see that Morbid Angel has held it together for so long and they still put on a great show. When I heard Obituary regrouped I felt like doing somersaults. Obviously, Death no longer exists but it seems Chuck's music continues to introduce many people to death metal these days. :1pirate:

Backstage??? they don't even let me backstage.... how are you going to get backstage? Maybe I should talk to Kelly as well eh?... just as long as Sonny and Chris don't get backstage as well.... I mean...then what's the point in getting back there right?

Warrior signed it, but it was long past the time he went back to using his real name "Fischer". Very nice guy, seriously.

Now since you speak of complementary talents from Ain and Fischer, check out this thread on the Celtic Frost message board. You might be a bit surprised with what you read...

Someone has to take some glamour shots of your steel underpants and those richard simmons shorts... not to forget the long lines of virgins, caviar and champagne and all the other myths of the backstage areas...

Thanks dude! I don't have the album yet, but I plan on getting it soon. I'll have to remember the info on this link you provided when I get the album.

Make sure you get the digipak. It's really worth it to get the extra song, but even beyong that, the extra artwork, alternate covers, and the full image of the cover on the poster is a further treat to allow you to understand the album and where it came from.

Can't wait for the vinyl to hit our shores.

As I said before, somebody needs to tape a video of you guys playing I Deny. That's a godly song... my favourite Atheist track, hands down.
