Noob Recording

So I got a PC and need to get a sound card and something to record (hardware/software) I wanna make a rough demo so need to do guitars, vocals, bass and I am borrowing an electric drum kit. What can/should I get that is hella cheap but will allow me to edit and is easy to use?

You could get a cheap external audio interface like an Mbox or something. They usually come with some sort of software along with them. Cheap and easy.

I would also recommend an external USB interface; I'm using this one:

With this you can record bass, guitar and vocals. It also contains a modelling software.

M-Audio fast track pro II is good choice and also cheap. Only sometimes I see some bugs with that but only temporarily.
