Throbbing Gristle's incredible recreation of Nico's Desert Shore album + their final studio album:

http://www.amazon.com/Desertshore-Fi...obbing+gristle

Might be one of their best albums ever. SO fucking good, cannot recommend enough.

Also got:

Three Mile Pilot 1991-1999 6 CD boxset
Legendary Pink Dots - Any Day Now
Legendary Pink Dots - Island of Jewels
Legendary Pink Dots - Canta Mientras Puedas
Legendary Pink Dots - Nemesis Online
Lee Randaldo - Between the Times and the Tides LP

Jealous !

I wish more people in Australia gave a fuck / got noise.
So more quality noise artists would come out here.

I saw John wiese a few years back, it was rad !

I was able to see John Wiese, Damion Romero, and Black Leather Jesus all in the same place. I think there were maybe >60 ppl there. I talked with one of the supporting acts and asked him how the tour was going and he said that LA was the tour's second stop and that 5 people showed up at the first stop. I'm glad I was able to spend like $70 buying merch for them bcuz I doubt they know who's going to show up, or even buy merch if they do come thru.

Nice man...Southern Lord always does good stuff. The Lurker of Chalice Reissue is one of the coolest vinyls that I've seen. The Dopesmoker vinyl pressing looks sick as well.

WOW - Awesome line up ! Did Richard Ramirez do any other stuff or just BLJ ?

There were maybe about 50 people at the Wiese show I went to in Melbourne.
He seemed quite taken back when I asked him to sign one of his records for me haha.

The next time I come to the US I would love to go to something like SUX by SUX WEST or Denver Noisefest or Hipster Death Fest.

Ive only been to maybe 4 noise shows, and every time there has been an odd vibe/atmosphere kinda like nobody knew what to do. And everyone seemed almost uncomfortable, It's cool ! haha

black leather jesus went on and I think there was maybe 5 or 6 of them all together and it was mostly junk noise. after they played maybe a 15 minute set they got a long applause and everyone was chanting "one more song" so they played another 15 minute set and everyone was moshing and destroying shit it was nuts.

I'd love to go to more shows but the fliers that I grabbed for shows last month and this month were either really far of a drive for me, or getting put on during the week and I wouldn't be able to stay as long as I'd really like. I'm sure there are way more shows out there than I think I just need to find them.

My friend and I walked around the "venue" (which srsly just looked like an empty art gallery) and smoked cigarettes outside after each act. everyone else kinda did the same thing.

I really cant get into buying stuff digitally ... I love having a physical copy of something.
Most of the noise stuff I buy comes in unique / unusual packaging and for me that really adds to the release. And thats pretty much all I buy these days.
Personally I would rather wait 2 weeks to have something shipped to me than buy it digitally and have it straight away. But thats just me I guess.

This is one of the only times I've purchased something digitally recently. It was on iTunes for 1.99...I didn't really feel like paying 15 dollars for the physical CD. Besides, I am looking to get my hands on the Deathspell Omega 7xLP box. I'll have the physical copy then.

I used to buy all my stuff from iTunes, but not anymore. One of my favorite things about having a physical copy is having the booklet/album artwork. Plus the CD's sound better. Plus going to the record store and browsing is fun/addicting. It makes my wallet cry...but then again, most hobbies in the world require you to spend money.

Anyone need a copy of the GX/David Ireland collab on CD? I have sealed ones.

SO, I've been to tons of noise shows and that one right there looks pretty packed actually hahaha... the most packed I've ever seen was when 5/5/2000 playedx the Haters 20th anniversary show in San Francisco. Worst show we ever did - drove all the way up there and none of our shit worked the entire show. We were so embarrassed and pissed.

Damien Romero's stuff is awesome. I love the speculum fight stuff.

If you get in contact through the Burial Ground facebook page this cdr would be a great place to start ! its over an hour long and I think like 6-8 bucks shipped in the US maybe. There were only 20 made but I just got one so he probably has a couple more. I think the label that released it is all out.
If not he has a few Burial Ground tapes on the Worthless Recordings blogspot as well as a whole heap of other great noise !
And in his Distro section he has
Burial Ground - Dedicated To George A. Romero CDr and
Burial Ground - The Burning C60
That he just put out that I'm gonna order real soon !

The Monolith Deathcult - Tetragrammaton

edit: Also picked up the limited reissue of Blut Aus Nord's The Work Which Transforms God on CD. Limited to 777 copies through Debemur Morti. I'll be getting the blue vinyl edition when it makes its way to Hell's Headbangers as well.

Woah, a Cattle Decapitation forum! Why did it take me so long to find this?

Anyways, I thought I'd reply to this and it occurred to me that I have no idea what the last album I bought was. If you include vinyl, it might have been None so Vile by Cryptopsy, and if you include CD, it might have been Dahmer by Macabre.
