I ordered that BAT set when it came out and got they vinyl with it. I've posted it before, but here's another look.

Make sure that the second DVD is the correct one. Somewhere in shipping they realized that there was a manufacturing error and CM had to send out a ton of copies of the fixed disc, but it was only the US-made releases that were affected.

I kept the bad disc anyways. Not sure why though.

Re: Last album you bought ?

I managed to email the seller about the Addicted disc. He told me that he included the fixed one in the set. Said it would be a dickish move to pull that stunt. Anyways, I shall see for sure within the next few days when it all ships in.

Weird question, but I got to know. Out of Devy's entire discography, what is your favorite? Mine would be Ocean Machine: Biomech. The whole concept of life and death in the album fits into my life at the moment with still moving on from Dad's death.

Re: Last album you bought ?

I got another cassette today from a store and it was so lo-fi that it fell apart and i had to open the cassette and reattach the tape. That's perfect because I wasn't afraid enough of cassettes as it was. Also, it left about half a second of music from the original tape it was dubbed over

In case you're wondering, the cassette was 8 Faces of Ixchel In Autumn by a local Baltimore artist called Yellow Crystal Star, and it was one of the weirdest, most confusing albums I've heard. (And I've heard some very weird shit.)

I especially like "Ants"... kind of a silly song but has some really interesting guitar work. And Gene Hoglan can do no wrong in my eyes.
You forgot to add that that's your opinion.

Ki and Terria are my favorites. I never could get into either Ocean Machine: Biomech or Infinity, and I don't get why they're so much more liked than my favorites.

Also, I love Addicted for the memories I have with it.

No I didn't, there's just no point. If someone can't clearly tell that it's my opinion just from reading it, then all I have to say to them is that when discussing the quality of any band or musician or album, it all automatically boils down to opinion. There's no factually "good" or "bad" bands or songs or musicians in existence so to add "in my opinion" would be pointless. Bottom line, music isn't science.

I just got these stickers and the Carbon Stampede tshirt in the mail finally from Indiemerch and I also got this With Prejudice tape from At War With False Noise - The WP project is supposedly shrouded in mystery but a little digging around revealed that it is an ex Cattle Decap member !

Re: Last album you bought ?

THE FOLLOWING RELEASES ARE NOW AVAILABLE FOR PURCHASE:

5/5/2000 - "5/5/2000" Cassette. (1996) (approx. 90 mins) $10
The first cassette of the apocalyptic ambient duo of Travis Ryan (Cattle Decapitation, Murder Construct) and Nathan Berlinguette (M. Kourie) recorded on 4-track in Travis' first apartment. Features the original version of the track "All is Ruin" which went on to be reworked on the Accretions Records release "Fin". Comprised of mostly improvisational guitar, loops and very lo-fi keyboards, these were the first and extremely primitive recordings of the band and was initially released on cassette in a run limited to 100. Sold out immediately.

5/5/2000 - "The Absolute, The First Wonder & The World" Cassette. (1997) (approx. 90 mins) $10
The second cassette by 5/5/2000, this time with more emphasis on songwriting and usage of keyboards and synths. Still in their primitive stages, the duo quickly knocked out another 90 minutes of doom, dark ambience. Lots of lush beds of drone and marathon noise making going on here on this release. Originally duplicated professionally in a limited run of 100. Sold out immediately.

GRAVEYARD WHISPERS - "Feel the Wrath" Special Packaging Cassette . (1998) $10
The outright hilarious joke "Goth" band featuring members of the original Upsilon Acrux lineup and friends. Known for their hilariously low budget theatrical stage show and songs about what its like to be a modern day Goth such as "Death Die, Death Die, Black Hair Dye", "Piercing Vampire" and "I'm A Moon Tan Child", Graveyard Whispers went on to be San Diego's premiere joke band until their untimely demise in 2000 or so. The release came in a manilla envelope adorned in black velvet with a sem-burnt offering of the singer's portrait emblazoned on the front and came with a lyric booklet and editions containing either a "gothic" cigarette lighter or an unsmokable velvet wrapped Clove Cigarette. Thought to be long gone and sold out, a few were unearthed recently in Travis' garage and were treated with sage wraps from the California mountains to ward off evil demons. Buy it now or forever wonder…. "DOTH THOU GOTH?"

5/5/2000 - Precession of the Equinox T-Shirt $15
The first ever 5/5/2000 T-Shirt! Features the logo that was first seen on the second cassette. Tan print on black shirt. Adult sizes of S, M, L, XL and XXL available.

---------------------------------------------------------
Also available:
5/5/2000 - "Fin" CD - $10
Throbbing Gristle Tribute CD feat. The Melvins, 5/5/2000, NON (Boyd Rice), Psywarfare, MSBR, Deerhoof and many more! CD - $10
---------------------------------------------------------

SHIPPING: $2 for one item, $5 for two or more items.

Re: Last album you bought ?

I got a package today from Travis, and part of it were these tapes.
I know a few of you have these, and I have had the 5/5 tracks on cdr for a few years now. But I was so excited when these arrived.
5/5/2000 is probably my favorite band ... Yes I think I like them more than Cattle - Don't hate me for it !
And to finally have these tapes is fucking HUGE !!!
The Graveyard Whispers tape is fucking cool too !
