ABORTED Post Summer Slaughter Tour Report; Prepare For Carcass Tour

Los Angeles, CA, August 5, 2008 – The Belgium grind masters of ABORTED recently wrapped up a very successful run as part of the Summer Slaughter Tour. Now the band has posted footage from the trek online, launching a video tour journal. Vocalist Sven de Caluwe comments: “We just got home from an exhausting and incredible SUMMER SLAUGHTER tour, which was honestly one of the best tours all round we have ever done. Many thanks to all the fans that came out each day and supported us and the other bands, the whole tour crew and last but not least every single one of the bands on the tour that made it such an easy going, relaxed experience! You can check out some tour footage and shenanigans in the following video, expect us to be back this September with death metal legends CARCASS to obliterate what’s left of you. As Sven mentions above, ABORTED has been confirmed to support the legendary Carcass on their upcoming reunion tour alongside Suffocation, 1349 and Rotten Sound. The tour will kick off on September 5th in Worcester, MA and is sure to be a highlight in the band’s already impressive career.

ABORTED unleashed their latest offering, Strychnine.213, on June 24 to a great response from press and fans alike. The album was mixed by Eric Rachel (The Red Chord, God Forbid) and features sickeningly infectious grooves while maintaining the same standard of brutality that has come to be expected of the band. In 2008, ABORTED is destined to take their special brand of aural violence to the next level.

sorry guys, we were supposed to come with kataklysm right after this tour but it was simply impossible due to logistics to make it out, we will be back in chicago early next year though!

saw you guys at the seattle show w/ carcass. you guys were awesome live. the venue had 1349 listed as playing first, so that's why there weren't alot of people there at the time.
