Yo, Crispy, just letting you know that Jack is out of town until this Sunday, and he does not have access to a computer, but he will answer your query shortly.

Cheers!

Thumbs down Wah Wah

Hey! I used a Digitech XP-100 Whammy/Wah. They rule, as well as the whole XP series. The 200 is a great UNivibe KNock off...

let me guess..

Your either very young brandon and you haven't had a chance to go through life and understand that change is neccesary at times and it just feels right regardless of who judges you, or your older and don't understand that people NEED to evolve as individuals in which that makes you immature and stagnant as a person. That means you need to get out of the house a little more.

Let's put it in a way you'll understand. Can you live on a steady diet of pizza for the rest of your life? Sure it's a great food at times but imagine if you had to have it breakfast noon and night. Don't you think that would get old after a while? Jacks put in how many years in Cannibal Corpse? Don't you at least respect that he wanted to stretch into uncharted territory for him? Even if in your opinion it's radio music? Give it a rest and just know as you're judging him for his change there's some kid judging you on the backside going "look at that satan worshiping drugy listening to that crap. It's not real music. Just a bunch of screaming and banging." You and I know different however.

If you're a young'en then we forgive you for your silly reply and hope you see a different view. If you're older than 25 then educate you're self on change and realize how healthy it is. And know that everyone goes through change at some point or another. Other wise you miss out on so many different experiences in life. That's the real reward for keeping an open mind.

More than a Mouthful

Gee whiz, Tony I geuss there isn't much left to say after all that, but in all honesty Brandon, Jack is still a fan of music from every genre. He an and I still go to shows to see bands we like, wether its death-metal country, or your favorite non-brutal pussified radio rock. Keep in mind dude that Jack gave you fifteen years of his life in cannibal, if he wants to change and do something that he might like more, its his decision and all the negative shit you and all the other people whopost negative shit arent gonna change it. No hard feelings bro just my take on things....

hehehe..

Just my spin on things. Hope I wasn't too hard on'm. I agree as well. I still listen to everything from Killswitch Engage to Mudvayne to Jazz...hell I just bought the soundtrack to Disney's Cirque Du Soleil's La Nouba...Awesome big sounding stuff on there. (Bought Killswitch Engages new album the same day plus The Blue Man Groups newest album. Those guys are sick!) My point being I'm still a musical slut. Always have been always will be. I can't stand eating pizza all day everday.

this kid needs to think and show some insight from jacks point of view, he spent well over 15 years in c.c. forming and spending his life dedicated to that band. he wants something new ya sure death metal is fun shit but you have to fufill other needs, his is to play whats coming from the heart and death metal wasnt coming from the heart anymore. sure adrift isnt my cup of tea but i respect jack even if he left c.c. one of my favorite bands, but there doing awesome now anyways.

all props go out to jack for making the wretched spawn such a sick ass cd it was his way fo going out in style and he did it with some of the most brutal shit.
