i remember the spirit i saw having a locking system, and it had emg's in it.

it was pretty decent for a novelty guitar.

yes all gu(spirits) have emg's,not 85 but emg selects.i've played one before and they are worth the $399 they used to go for BUT the necks just don't compare to the graphites at all.like night and day when it comes to sustain and tone imo

Christ man, that's some insane gear dude. Are you in a band or anything? What do you do with all this? Or is it mostly for your future studio - I know a lot of studios stock gear to reamp shit to their liking.

Although I'm not a fan of guitars without temelos - feels too weird to me - even if I were to never use the tremelo bar!

Again, glad to hear you like it!

It definetly has the unique sounds & looks, but after I got my Kubicki back in working order, it wasn't just getting any attention anymore..

I dunno man, this sounds terrible but i've got a ENGL Powerball and cab,

I never use the cab, I always use an old Marshall 4x12b because it's got that killer crunch and I use the powerball because it's so fucking resliliant*
I love my JCM800 but it keeps fucking blowing on me

Some of the best tones I'VE ever got have come from an ADA MP1 or your Rockmaster there, however the rockmaster wasn't mine and it broke my heart when its tenure with me ended.

With amps like that it's all about the combination of gear in your setup, thats what I love about them. ENGL's and alike colour your tone so much it doesn't really matter what you're using through it.
Last night there was some dude using an LDT M50NT, with the stock pickups through a VHT Pitbull!!!

*I say this knowing it's going to fucking blow tonight

I actually sold the Blackmore the other day so I'm down to just the 5150 and Recto. The idea was to stock stuff for the studio yeah. I do jam with a couple of friends but because of where I work and my schedule, I can't really be in a proper band which sucks. I'll probably end up unloading the 5150 cab and Mesa head though in a few months... The Recto sounds great but I only need one amp and I'm going to be moving to an apartment in Calgary in the spring for a few years so the full time studio thing is going to be on hold which means my stuff would be sitting in my parents' basement collecting dust for no reason. So I'm just going to wait until I'm finally settled in one location and start building up my gear collection again then I suppose.

I really want one of those Randall RM100 modular heads though :(

And to give my Rockmaster extra death metal scene cred... I bought it from Chris Braunstein after his band, DEBODIFIED broke up in 2003.
