Tightening up my guitar skills?

Hey, ive been trying to place some tech death lately but ive found my tremolo picking isn't tight enough along with my string skipping. Any of you guys know any good exercises or songs that could help my playing?

I play a les paul black beauty which sucks for fast picking (i find it easier on guitars) but cant quite get the set up right either. Any suggestions?

Well I bought the Epitaph tab book a few months ago and I really treasure it. It's got all the right fingerings for the songs and stuff, and I've found that there is a pretty good mix of soloing (a lot of sweeping too) and rhythm (fair bit of string skipping). Playing it, I think it's quite a good workout and practicing those songs would definitely help you.
