Apparently, Grave Miasma is coming out with a new album called Abyss of Wrathful Deities in May.

the new album reminds me of Dub Buk or other Ukrainian Black Metal bands.

I actually love how the drums are pushed back, it fits the sound of the album and it reminds me a bit of Nattens Madrigal. this is their most "trve" black metal album, total lo-fi necro bedroom kvltness.

New Scald 'EP' (contains one new song and a re-recording of Eternal Stone with the new singer). Honestly, the song isn't bad. I just wish they went under a different name. No one will ever replace Agyl.

I guess it isn't fair to want to hear something similar to Dodecahedron. Only listened to one or two songs so far. Maybe it'll be a grower like the last Biesy album was. Always feels weird when metal bands try to add electronic elements though, it usually feels forced.

This is the most underwhelming thing I've heard this year so far. I think I'll stick to rhino, odz, and tukaaria.

Well, without spilling too many beans, luckily you may very soon stumble upon a new release from one of the projects you mentioned above.

i like this album. It reminds me of early Squash Bowel and Dead Infection. it's old school Goregrind, it sounds like the album that could've been made between "Sound of Rancid..." and "Hymns of Indigestible..."

At this point, they've already made one of the greatest and most extreme Goregrind album, they don't need to top it nor do it to prove it to anyone.

LDOH is a band that has no original members like Napalm Death. And speaking of Napalm Death, the drumming reminds me of "FETO," it's not hyperblasting ping fast but it's the brutal clunky Mick Harris style of blasting.

Besides that, I just wish they could've put more effort on the album cover. If anything, that still falls on the regular lazy Goregrind trope of using "internet-found-images"

I did the same, and it took a couple listens for the whole album to sink in, but I like it a lot. The vocals took some time getting used to because they're all over the place and can get distracting. I love the heavy yet gritty production, the riffs are top notch and the drumming is extremely solid. Granted, I could've used some hyperblasting moments, but it works especially for a drummer whose also the vocalist (which might explain the vocals lol). It's definitely an album I'll be revisiting, which is the most I can ask for, like you said, a band with no original members.

This is some great oldschool goregrind worship. I know the logo makes them come across as another Carcass clone but I'd say they sound more like early Regurgitate and LDOH.

With that new Esoctrilihum there has been another announcement that I am looking forward to even more, Acausal Intrusion. When I saw the album cover I knew it has to be something demented and it didn't disappoint even with a slightly wobbly mix:

I was actually hoping someone would talk about that, I love the mix on the drum, sounds so sloppy.
