Recently I interviewed Kelly Shaefer of Atheist. They have 3 hours of riffs for the upcoming album! He also has 10 songs for Till the Dirt album (mixed by Scott Burns, + guest appearance of Steve DiGiorgio and Jeff Loomis). He talked in detail about Roger Patterson and Cynic (RIP). Atheist has been talking about releasing a new album for quite a few years now. Its never going to end up coming out lol.

Maybe it's for the best. Didn't like the direction of Jupiter.

Same here, but I think they started down a bad path with Elements.

whether they do or don't (I see it about as likely as the long awaited new Anata album), I'll be seeing them play with Suffo next week regardless. They played a great set last time I saw em' with Cattle D, this one should be just as good :)
